On May 19th 2008, the World Hepatitis Alliance and over 200 patient groups are launching a campaign to increase the awareness of the disease Hepatitis.

The shocking fact statistic that one in twelve people on the planet are living with Hepatitis has brought forward a huge concern about the low awareness of this disease.

With a disease that kills over 1.5 million people a year, you’d think that the world would have a better understanding of what this disease is and how you get it but surprisingly enough the awareness is very low.

This campaign will hopefully teach people the causes and treatments for this disease in order to help fight the numbers and decrease the death toll. To support the campaign, head over to www.aminumber12.org and you’ll receive information and advice.
